But he says that he's actually looking forward to the winter season. His blue studio has been newly painted and he's battened down the hatches whilst he works on a brand new body of work.
White Beach on Anglesey has been a favourite spot for Martyn. Countless hours spent catching the shimmering turquoise colours of sea and sky have produced some of his finest work.
Martyn has spent much of the year travelling between his home in Cardiff and the USA and Barcelona - not to mention weekend painting trips into the countryside.
Now we look forward to the results of inclement weather!
