PETER KOTKA'S FAVOURITE PIECE OF ART

Peter Kotka's art collection is an eclectic mix of masterful oil paintings and idiosyncratic pieces which mean much to him as a marker of his personal journey through the art world.

This is one such picture. A cartoon of the man himself by the Croatian artist Boban Bursac. Bursac is an international artist with an established reputation as a figurative painter and sculptor. Peter and Boban met in Carmel, California where the artist has his own amazing art gallery.

They became firm friends over an eight year period whilst Peter was building his reputation as California's best selling exhibition artist.

The two painters shared good times and also their art. They swapped images and this was the portrait that Boban Bursac gave to Peter - the great artist trapped quite comfortably in the neck of his own bottle of Kotka Wine!
